Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television shows. Born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and was granted the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. Her middle sister took care of her within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air camera career by being featured in several National Commercials. In the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada portrayed the main character in Chiara a performance for which she was awarded the film festival's best actress nomination. She's appeared in TV shows like How I Met Your Mother as well as Entourage, Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych as well as Castle. She most recently had a supporting role in the action science fiction movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedy series by independent filmmakers You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her career in 2008 when she joined the team for the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada as the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a specialist in holistic healing. Ghanizada appeared as Kelly, the Prada girl on HBO's Entourage.
